I found its slimness a bonus, especially when my desk is cluttered or if I’m drawing on the go. The Pen Resolution stands at 5080LPI, making my lines sharper and transitions smoother. Coupled with a Report Rate of 266PPS, the pen’s responsiveness is top-notch. I experienced no lag whatsoever, which often breaks the flow for artists. In summary, the GAOMON S620 Graphics Tablet is a beacon of compatibility in the digital landscape. Regardless of your domain – be it art, business, or a mix of both – this tablet promises to blend seamlessly, enriching your digital endeavors. The Digital Pen AP32 was the first thing that caught my attention. Lightweight yet sturdy, it felt like an extension of my hand rather than a separate tool. The pen was very accurate, even for tiny details. Also, no battery requirements for this pen meant I didn’t have to pause in between inspirations to charge it. The tablet comes with an active drawing area of 6.5 x 4 inches which is a decent size if you are planning to use this on your laptop screen on monitor that measured less than 21 inches.
As for the artists out there, from fledgling doodlers to seasoned professionals specializing in drawing, graphic design, photo editing, or even 2D/3D animation, the S620 is a trusty companion. It’s not just about the tablet’s hardware but also how it interacts with art software. I’ve tried and tested it with a slew of programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Painter, Sai2, Krita, Medibang Paint, and many more. Each time, the experience was smooth and intuitive. The only feature that we found missing on the driver is, the driver does not allow you to set the buttons on the stylus to switch between a pen and an eraser. Gaomon S620 – Android support The OpenTablet driver is an open-source and cross-platform tablet driver for tablet users. This is a widely applied driver and it is compatible with Wacom, Huion, Gaomon, Hawku, Acepen, Genius, Parblo, 10moon, RobotPen, UC-Logic, UGEE, VEIKK, UGTABLET, XenceLabs Pen, XENX, XP-Pen, KENTING, and many other tablets. The shortcut buttons are present on the top left portion of the tablet, meaning if you are left-handed you may find it inconvenient to reach the buttons. But in that case, you can always use the keyboard instead. On the top panel of the S620 tablet, there are four large plastic squares which are programmable physical buttons for storing shortcuts. You can assign any shortcut you want (including keyboard and mouse key functions).Aux buttons and eraser detection are not yet supported. What’s in the box?
Uninstall the VMulti driver through TabletDriver\bin\VMulti Installer GUI.exe or in the main window. The Gaomon driver also allows you to create an application-specific shortcut. By that we mean you can have different shortcuts for photoshop and Krita. And the tablet automatically switches the shortcuts depending on the application you are using. Connecting the tablet to the computer For using this tablet with Android smartphones and tablets you don’t need to install any driver, simply plug in the cable to the phone via the included adapter and get started. Some users have reported that their Huion H420 or Gaomon s620 tablets are not detected after installing Open Tablet Driver. How can you get your tablet to work properly?
For those who are wondering – the length of the included cable is 160 cms (5.2 feet). Gaomon Driver – tablet and pen settings This may be caused by the fact that you have both the branded tablet driver and the opentabletdriver installed. You may need to remove the opentablet driver and the other tablet drivers and then reinstall the OTD driver. The GAOMON pen has a sensing height, or reading height, of 10mm and the pen is battery-free so there is no need to charge or need to change out any batteries for the pen.
Gaomon S620 – Design and Build quality
The tablet offers a drawing space of around 165.1 x 101.6 mm(6.5 x 4 inches). This might seem standard, but it felt just right for me. I could easily focus on detailed work and broader sketches without feeling restricted. This size is good for beginners.
