To many of their fans, they are horror music pioneers brewing a signature blend of instrumental orchestral gothic music and movie-style sound effects. The second side is a bit excessive and largely instrumental, based more on atonal textures and experimental synthesizers, flirting at moments with Avant-Prog, although there are still moments of pure pleasure with the soaring violins, the Classical interludes and the bombastic rhythm section in the forefront. Similarly to the last two soundtracks, Halloween Ends was recorded in its entirety at John Carpenter’s home studio and Daniel’s studio. I wasn't familiar with this piece when I wrote "Carriage Ride" from our "Monsters of Legend" album but that song is an almost perfect match for what I envision in this scene.

I loved the building up to the chorus and the chorus itself was really uplifting and epic sounding so someday if I can ever get another keyboard (it really sucks not having one) this would be a lovely track to cover!
